Squirrel Removal & Squirrel Control

Trusted Squirrel Control in Metro Vancouver since 1993

Squirrels are very common in urban areas around the Lower Mainland. However, most home owners are not fond of them being in their homes. Over 25 years ago, our business was started with the understanding that squirrels will forever be a part of our cities, they just do not belong in our homes. If squirrels have moved on to your property we can help.

Squirrels cause damage to roofs and other structures. Once inside, the warm, dry, secluded shelter provides protection from other animals and humans, making it a safe place to live. Through the entry hole(s) in the roof, rain and snow will enter. Inside of the attic, insulation and electrical wiring can be compromised. The odors left behind can attract additional wildlife. If you have a squirrel problem or do not want to experience a squirrel problem – you've just come to the right place. Call today!

Fun Fact!

Squirrels rely on multiple nesting sites within their territory which can be up to 4 to 5 square city properties. They will build multiple nests within one attic. And one female will typically produce up to 14 offspring per year...

Humane Squirrel Removal

AAA Wildlife Control specializes in hands-on removal techniques and squirrel proofing homes and businesses in Metro Vancouver, BC. Our process includes the following:

  • Humanely remove all squirrels
  • Repair all entry areas
  • Deodorize to avoid future attraction
  • Guarantee our work for up to 10 Years

One of our 6 experienced wildlife technicians will arrive at your home, conduct a thorough inspection and provide you with a free estimate outlining the work necessary to solve the wildlife intrusion. The first step is to enter the attic and locate the squirrel family. During the search a watchful eye must be kept on the mother squirrel as her instinctive nature is to guard her young, sometimes prompting her to attack when you least expect it. Only after the mother squirrel has been chased out of the attic or kept at bay can her babies be collected. In cases when the adult or mobile juveniles cannot be chased outside, installation of our tested and proven AAA one-way-door allows them to exit through the door but not to get back in.

The next step is to repair the damaged shingles and secure a heavy guage galvanized screen over the entry hole. Animal proofing of roof vents, plumbing roof mats/pipes, chimneys, etc. is also essential to keep all wildlife out for a long time to come. All repair work is backed by our AAA one to ten year guarantee, supported by our over 25 years in business.

The final step in our humane approach is to reunite the mother squirrel with her young. To this extent the babies are placed in our specifically designed AAA heated release box, which maintains their core body temperature. The maternal mother squirrel will return to retrieve her young, one by one, and to take them to a known, pre-established secondary nesting site.

Do It Yourself Dangers

For the "do-it-yourselfer", performing wildlife removal and animal proofing can be a dangerous undertaking and best be left to an experienced professional. Over the years we have come across customers who attempted to do-it-themselves, only to sustain serious bodily harm by falling off ladders and roofs. One customer, startled by an aggressive mother raccoon fell through their ceiling onto the staircase below and broke his back.
