This mother raccoon and her babies thought it was clear sailing when they boarded a vessel at the Vancouver Yacht Club near Stanley Park. However, they came uninvited so the owner asked them to leave...that is when things got interesting. It took a bit of convincing but they finally agreed to move to a more natural environment. AAA Wildlife Control took action and gathered them all up, then placed the whole family into a nearby wooded area of Stanley Park -- which just happened to be across the street. The following day we followed up to confirm she had taken notice and moved her babies to a more suitable shelter.. never to set sail again.. we hope.
